I created an alert in strategy builder to alert me when 2 different parameters are met:
Parameter 1: indicator 1 value < a
Parameter 2: indicator 2 value > -b and < b
When I enable the strategy, it will almost always alert when Parameter 1 is met but Parameter 2 is not (it's usually close though sometimes it's way off). I also made a trading strategy in strategy builder that includes these parameters plus a few more and have it take trades, but when I apply it to historical data, it generally shows triggers when only 1 parameter is met. Note that I have tried having the values calculated on bar close and on each tick, still hasn't worked properly. Any tips would be appreciated.
