Trial stop

How do you set trail stop in strategies builder? Say...i want
10 point gain
Trailstop 4 point
Stop loss 10 point

So if I gain 10, I'm willing to risk 4 and I will make 6 point at lease

Thanks for your post.

The Strategy builder has a trailing stop in the Stops and Targets screen, however, this is a simple trail stop that will only start at a distance away as specified by you and as the trade moves into profit by x ticks, the stop will move closer x ticks. Note also that you cannot use both a set stop loss and a trailing stop on the same order.

What you want to do can be done, however, it will require creating your own trail stop. My colleague Chelsea has created a couple of examples that may be helpful to you to review and test and incorporate the concepts. These can be found here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...der#post806596
