Default Optimizer Settings

Hello,

Whenever I switch strategies, all previous settings are re-set back to defaults, like:

• Include commission (on/off)
• Keep best # results
• Optimize on.

How to save default optimization template, that no matter what strategy I load, it gives those parameters?

I tried to template->save->save as default, but it only works for the particular strategy I saved, whenever I switch to different strategy, parameters reset.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately there's not a way to set those properties globally - you'd have to set templates for each strategy individually. However, in my testing "Save as Default" should save all those settings when a strategy is switched away from and switched back.

Hi,
I'd like to request that we be able to set the defaults globally, especially the "Optimize on" drop down list. It seems to default to max profit factor, but I'd like to change this.
