Strategy Analyzer doesn't work with IB

Hi,

I am trying to run my strategy while connected to IB simulation mode.
Running strategy currently open chart works fine however when I use strategy analyzer with date range, application says it's running the backtest, but it never recovers from that mode and results never appear. How do i figure out he underlying issue?

Thanks for your post.

Something you should always check when something is not working as expected would be the "Log" tab of the control center which would display any errors. In this case as it says it is running you may not see any errors until it finishes.

Are you able to test the strategy SampleMACrossover on the same bar/data in the strategy analyzer?

If not, what bar type are you testing with in the strategy analyzer?

Can you create a chart of the same range of days to verify you have the historical data?
