    Cancelled orders and strategy errors

    I keep getting this error and I need to know how to fix it because it is pausing my strategy. How do I fix this?

    Thanks for your post.

    The error message is advising that a buy stop order was placed below the current market price and needs to be placed above the current market price.

    What specific order methods are you using in your strategy for both entry and exit?

    What is the "Calculate" setting of the strategy? (OnBarClose, OnPriceChange, or, OneachTick)

    Where are you testing the strategy? (Live, Market replay, strategy analyzer?)

    What instrument, bar type and bar size are you using?

    Is this a multi-timeframe or multi-series strategy?

    Are you using the Strategy Builder or the Ninjascript editor?

      I am using regular market orders for long and short, I am using the OnBarClose calculate, I am testing the strategy live, I am trading NQ futures, I am using the Heiken Ashi candles on the 5 minute time frame and this strategy was built in the Strategy Builder.

        What specific exit orders are you using in the Strategy Builder? ( Exit long by a stop market, SetProfitTarget, SetStopLoss, etc.etc.)

          For exit orders I am using a stop loss that I put in the strategy builder. I have a SetProfitTarget and SetStopLoss.

            Thanks for your reply.

            Please confirm what version of NinjaTrader8 you are using. (Look under Help>About).

            Please post a screenshot of your Stops and Target window and any other sets that would have an exit order.

            Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

                Is "STOPLOSS" a user input or a variable?

                In either case, it is ever set to a negative number?

                  I am using the 8.0.24.2 64bit version and the stoploss is a user input. The stoploss is never set to a negative number.

                      No it has never been set to 0 or 1 right now it is set to 5.

                        I would like to test your strategy. Please attach the .cs file to your reply (or use the e-mail advised in post #6).

                        Please advise the specific settings you were using to generate the error.

                        Please advise the instrument, bar type, and time frame that the strategy was run on to reproduce the error.

                        The strategy file can be found in documents>NinjaTrader8>bin>Custom>Strategies> and will be as you named it with a .cs file type.

                        Finally, advise what time zone you are in.
