Entry on Close > Open does not work

I am trying to go long on a green bar when the close is bigger than the open on the 5 minute chart.

Close[0] is greater than the Open[0]

but the strategy does not show any entries on the strategy analyzer. What is wrong?

Thanks for your post.

When you run the strategy, please check the "Log" tab of the NinjaTrader control center for any errors related to the strategy.

If no errors then please test using the Sample MA Crossover strategy using the same data, same bar type/size and same dates.

If the Sample MA Crossover does not show any trades then the issue would be related to your historical data. Please make sure you are connected to your live data feed and are using an instrument you have data for.

if the Sample MA Crossover does show continuous trades over the entire period (hint: change the "Display" from "Summary" to "Chart") then that confirms you have the data needed and you would need to review your strategy's entry conditions.
