Converted an Indicator to a Strategy and can't use it in the Strategy Analyzer

Hi,

I converted a fairly long and complicated indicator into a Strategy and can load the strategy into a chart and produce performance reports.

However when I load the strategy to back test optimize using the Strategy Analyzer is looks like it begins to start processing and simply stops.

I don't see any messages in the log and would really like to have this strategy available in the analyzer..

Is there anything else I need to do? For strategies and indicators where the source is "hidden" I do see a strategy/indicator.cs file but there are only a few functions in there rather then the entire strategy/indicator.

Hello demarcog,

If there are not any errors it would be hard to say what may be a factor there.

I would suggest to comment out logic you added to further identify what part of the code is having an issue. With that known you could post a smaller sample to see what may be incorrect.

For strategies and indicators where the source is "hidden" I do see a strategy/indicator.cs file but there are only a few functions in there rather then the entire strategy/indicator.

The source code for indicators and strategies can be reviewed in the NinjaScript editor. If the files are not present in the editor that would indicator you have imported a compiled assembly which the source is not available.
