Access IB commodities vs securities excess liquidity

Hello,

I am using a single IB account to trade securities and futures. IB really has two sub-accounts behind the scenes to manage margin, one for securities and one for commodities (futures). Is there a supported or unsupported way to access these values? I can see the value I want reported regularly in the IB gateway log, with my $ available for trading futures called "ExcessLiquidity-C" and my $ available for trading securities called "AvailableFunds-S". I would LOVE to be able to access these within a strategy to correctly manage my margin, as I use available liquidity to dictate position sizes. Any help is greatly appreciated!

There is some limitation to what you can pull from IB regarding account information.

You can use Account.Get() method and pull various account items.

Note: We are aware of a current limitation regarding the ability to pull "initial margin" from IB and this is being worked s a bug we expect to resolve by the next release of NinjaTrader8.
