Order rejected using DLL ATI with Ninjatrader 8, but works using "Basic Entry"

Hello guys,

I'm developing a strategy outside Ninja, and using the DLL ATI to send orders to Ninja. When I try to send an specific order to trade an option with TD Ameritrade I get a rejection message from Ninja, I see this message on the Log: "holds unknown instrument". But when I try to place an order using "Basic Entry" window on Ninja it works fine.

Please let me know if you have a solution for this.

Thank you for your post.

Does this only occur when placing the order to a Live account? Or, does it also occur when using the Sim101 account?

Options are not supported for NinjaScript use as stated at the bottom of the help guide documentation linked below. Since options are not supported for NinjaScript use, they would also not be supported for use with the DLL interface.
