    TradeSize with consideration of the share price

    Hi everyone, I have created a strategy for which stocks to trade. Since every share has a different price, I would like to incorporate a defined maximum amount (input field) into the strategy so that the Strateige divides the current price of the share by the specified amount and thus determines the number of quantities to be bought.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Lopat,

    You could create a int input for that purpose.

    The most simple way to generate user inputs is to use the indicator wizard to make a temporary script, you can copy and paste the generated inputs from that file. In the NinjaScript editor you can create a new indicator and in the wizard that opens select the input section. Create a Int input and then click Generate.

    The generated code would look like the following:

    Code:
    NinjaScriptProperty]
    [Range(1, int.MaxValue)]
    [Display(Name="IntInput", Order=1, GroupName="Parameters")]
    public int IntInput
    { get; set; }
    You can then reference the name of the property in your code:

    IntInput

    I look forward to being of further assistance.
