Safe to run a strategy on sim account and another on live trading account simultaneously?

I run strategies in sim and run the same strategy in a live account quite frequently.

One thing to watch our for is if you are running strategies from a chart where you load the strategies, the account associated with the strategy is setup in the Strategies Parameters screen seem right after you add the strategy. One the strategy is enabled and the strategy parameter screen closes the account that appears in chart trader (if you are using it ) is not the account that the strategy trades will execute against.

The account in the chart trader is only for trades executed using chart trader. Don't know why this is the case but found it to be a problem as I have a strategy loaded and it's impacting a different account then appears on the chart trader.

Yes, each strategy instance runs completely independently. It is fine to run strategies on different accounts include simulation accounts.
