Exit swing trading positions x days before earnings?

If I use EOD data and want to build swing trading strategy around it, is it possible to add exit option x days before earnings?

Hello UltraNIX,

Using EOD data or delayed data would not allow for a NinjaScript strategy to work accurately for conditions. If you are using a live data feed and daily bars you could do this type of logic and check that the current date is X days away from some target data that you have input.

I had the same issue with IB. When I saw a good deal showing up in my Donchian channel graphic, I tried to go for it, but was blocked with a similar error. Lucky for me, that error actually ended saving me a lot of crypto. I tried to reach support, but, just like in your case, my market orders were rejected. As a swing trader, I can relate. The worst thing that can happen is not being able to carry out a lucrative operation. Hope they will fix this shortly. I’m in this for the long haul.
