I would like to put some calculations in a Method or Class that I can access in other places by 'classname.methodname()' . This would be similar to Math.Abs(number). MS describes how to do this :
"for example, in the .NET Class Library, the static System.Math class contains methods that perform mathematical operations, without any requirement to store or retrieve data that is unique to a particular instance of the Math class."
I followed their guide on setting up the Static Clases and Static Constructors . I tried every permutation/combination I could think of and did not get it to work without errors.
Is what I am trying to do even possible in the NT environment? If so, can you supply an example that works or give me some pointers.
Thank you.
