BarsSinceNewTradingDay in replay returns incorrect bars

Hi,

I'm having problems using BarsSinceNewTradingDay in playback(replay) mode. I noticed that the number of bars correspond to the initial time in the replay data file and not the initial session time.
For example, for my local time, the replay data files start at 9pm and my session starts at 3pm. The BarsSinceNewTradingDay returns a number of bars corresponding to 9pm and not 3pm.
I don't see that in real time.

Is there a way to make NT get the actual number bars since the beginning of the session? BTW, this feature used to work fine until recently.

Thanks for your post.

I have just tested this on the current release of NinjaTrader 8 and I am seeing the results I would expect. I am printing the bar timestamp alongside Bars.BarsSinceNewTradingDay and I have my my mouse over the bar that is the 5th bar from the session break line. In the output window, this is 4 since 0 reflects the first bar after the session break and the new trading day.

Please test the same on your end after updating and let me know if you are getting different results than me.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I think I had corrupted tick files. I re-installed the files and it seems to work OK.
