    Dear Brandon,

I disagree. As I am merely testing viability of strategies, delayed data on tick basis is sufficient, as the behavior would not change with real-time data.

I am aware of the potential conflict of interest by affiliation to Kinetick, hence I leave it to you to weigh / balance Kinetick data sales vs. NT Platform usability / features.

As customer to both, I am suggesting to fix the broken chart display (as the internal NT logic is working fine). What you guys intend to do with my feature request / bug report is up to you.

    Kind regards,
    Stefan

      Hello Stefan,

Delayed data is not a bug. If you want to have execution markers line up with price action with realtime trades, you need a non-delayed realtime data feed and also ensure your PC clock is synchronized to internet time. We could not submit a feature request to make delayed data non-delayed.

If you are seeing execution markers that are off when testing on the Simulated Data Feed (not just a Sim101 account on your data feed) then this would be something that we could look into.

If that is the case, please let us know.

        Hi Jim,

who said delayed data is bug? I stated that the wrongly displayed Strategy Executions on a chart which is fed by delayed data is a potential bug / missing feature.

        Reasons:
        a) NT displays charts correct fed by real but delayed tick data (OK)
        b) NT calculates the strategy executions correctly on delayed data. (OK)

But: The Strategy executions on delayed data stream are displayed incorrectly on that chart. NT could fix it by considering a) and b) (NOT OK)

I am merely highlighting this inconsistency of NT software, which was unexpected and I personally feel it is a deficit.
Either you welcome customer feedback, or you do not. Again, up to you and / or NT business policy.

A "Thank you, we will think about it" would be enough.

I am not going to discuss this further.

        Have nice week-end
        Stefan
