How to add a second Entry while already Long

This should be an easy one. I just can't find an example of the syntax...

I am already long, and I want to enter a second new order at a new price.

I have: a condition above this, and if this condition is met, I want to either enter for the first time, or add a second order.

EnterLongLimit(DefaultQuantity,entryprice, "Long 1");
}
else

EnterLongLimit(DefaultQuantity,entryprice, "Long 2");
Print("Did I place an order?");
}


I have the EntriesPerDirection = 2, and I have tried setting EntryHandling to both unique and all entries. Neither changed anything.


I am getting the print statement to fire, but it is not attempting to place an order. Any ideas what kind of syntax I need to change?

Hello Ian, thanks for your post.

The orders are being canceled at the end of the bars because you are not using the EnterLongLimit() overload that takes the isLiveUntilCanceled bool:

EnterLongLimit(int barsInProgressIndex, bool isLiveUntilCancelled, int quantity, double limitPrice, string signalName)

Turn that bool to true if and the two orders will be placed.
