Automatic trade with trendlines manually draw

Hi Kinga and NT, I know this is old, but hopefully i could get some help. I am trying to obtain the same thing: price line, vertical trend line one hit becomes a sell/buy order depending if above or below current price line. It is not possible with the strategy builder. Has anyone achieved that? I looked in the NT ecosystem too, or the internet but nothing satisfying so far. Kinga, have you found something?

Thanks for your post. I have moved this to the NinjaTrader 8 forum as your inquiry is in reference to the Strategy Builder.

The Strategy Builder is capable of drawing on a chart, but it is not capable of reading manually drawn objects on the chart.

Chart Alerts can be used to trigger order entry based off of manually drawn objects, so you may wish to investigate using Chart Alerts to trigger this action.

Alternatively, you could unlock the strategy, and loop through the DrawObjects collection to find your Trend Line Drawing Object and use that with your strategy logic to enter positions.
