Our colleague Chelsea has made an informational post on the forum about the differences you can see between a backtest and real time data and what can be done to resolve:

There is a full example on that post to reference if you are having trouble getting the implementation correct.
In that example, The strategy is running OnEachTick, and the indicators are set up on the primary dataseries, and the indicators are checked on every tick.
