Trailing stops not working

Trailing stops not operating when strategy is enabled on live tape. please advise.

Thank you for your post.

I see in the image you shared that you are using SetStopLoss() and SetTrailStop(). The SetStopLoss() method can NOT be used concurrently with the SetTrailStop() or SetParabolicStop() method for the same position, if any methods are called for the same position (fromEntrySignal) the SetStopLoss() will always take precedence. This is seen in the Notes section of the help guide link below.

made the change. running it, and it's still NOT showing on the Chart Trader.

i was using currency. it appears trailing stops need to use TICKS. Thanks for the look.

when using trail stops with ticks WHEN will the stop begin to trail if value is set to 20 ticks?

Hello hdge4u,

Thank you for your notes.

SetTrailStop() with a value of 20 with places the stop loss order 20 ticks from the entry price and will trail for each tick in your favor. For example, if you are long and the price moves 1 tick in your favor, the trailing stop will move up 1 tick.
