    Setting two profit targets in one strategy

    Hi,

    When setting my profit target in my strategy, I usually use the following key lines:

    ProfitTarget = X;
    SetProfitTarget("", CalculationMode.Ticks, ProfitTarget);

    and it works perfectly well with me. However, I've lost my way on how to set two different profit targets for two different conditions. I tried using the above lines but with different names such as ProfitTarget1 and ProfitTarget2, but did not work.

    Can you please guide me on how to achieve that?
    Appreciate your support

    Hello Abdullah_KSA,

    Thanks for your post.

    Something like:

    if (some entry condition(s))
    {
    if (some higher profit condition)
    {
    ProfitTarget = X +10; // set a larger target
    }
    else
    {
    ProfitTarget = X; // otherwise set standard target
    }
    SetProfitTarget("" CalculationMode.Ticks, ProfitTarget); // set before placing entry
    // entry order here
    }
