I am looking to update one of my strategies with a static stop loss that is located at the close of the previous candle .Is this possible in NT8 and if so how can it be done?

Thank you for your post.
Exit methods like ExitLongStopLimit() would need to be used to place a stop loss at the close price of the previous bar. Please see the attached example strategy that demonstrates this.
In the strategy, we create a variable named prevClose. We save the previous close price to that variable in OnBarUpdate. The script checks if we are in a flat position and calls EnterLong with a signal name "MyEntry". Then we check if we are in a long position and call ExitLongStopLimit with a fromSignalName of "MyEntry" and use our prevClose variable for the stop price.
