looking for forum post about automatically closing error message popups

Hi,

there was a post I can't find now, with a code snippet that would automatically close error pop up windows.

Can one of you remember where it is in the forum? (link?)

I am using the Managed Order approach with RealtimeErrorHandling = RealtimeErrorHandling.IgnoreAllErrors but there are still errors that pop up

the code I saw attached to the Control Center (AddOn?) and was a first attempt at trying to understand how to do this.

Because if a strategy is going to run automated without human interaction, and if all the error conditions are handled in the code, then these error message don't do any good.

Otherwise the developer/ trader needs to monitor the strategy all the time, which kind of takes away any advantage of automation.

This would not be supported, so you'd be pretty much on your own other than the provided snippet.

I think most serious automation developers will handle all the errors and not want these popups.

For automation there needs to be a better way that the errors are alerted, because there is no one there to see them.

I suggest automation error alerts have an option of going to a new type of Event Handler, that the developer can manage.

So, there could be an option.... Error Popup or Error Event Handler (no popup).
