backup copy strategy in builder before unlocking it

Hi everybody,

I have a strategy built with strategy builder and I want to experiment with developing for tick replay data. Therefore I need to unlock the code and as result I won't be able to access my strategy in builder again. I'd like to avoid this by creating a copy/backup of my current strategy so I can continue using it later on Strategy Builder. Then I can unlock my strategy to have opened in ninjascript editor.

How can I do this easily? any help appreciated.

Thank you for the post.

Using the strategy builder to first make a copy of your strategy would really be the only way to unlock it and still retain a builder version. Once unlocked there is no way to move back to a strategy builder script.

To make a copy of a builder strategy you can use the strategy builders initial screen where you select strategies. Select the drop down menu and hover the mouse over the strategy name, you should see Save As. Click Save as and that will let you make a copy.
