Hi all,

I am trying to rest a limit entrance buy and limit entrance sell at the same time using the above mentioned methods. I get an error message in the log:

Strategy '-----------------': An Enter() method to submit an entry order at '12/6/2020 5:01:00 PM' has been ignored. Please search on the term 'Internal Order Handling Rules' in the Help Guide for detailed explanation.

When I search for 'Internal Order Handling Rules' in the Help Guide I do not see any explanation that says I cannot rest two managed orders at the same time. However, if I try to rest either one of the orders by itself, they each go in as intended.

Can someone help me understand what is going on here?

Hello ozziyhtomit,

The managed approach sees that as an invalid entry so it ignores the second order. The internal order handling rules are described on the Managed order handling page here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...antedPositions

To do a bracket entry you would need to use the unmanaged approach to avoid the internal order handling rules. You can find a sample that covers that here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...579#post770579
