Backtest start time verification

Hello,

At what time does the logic begin processing on a strategy? For instance, using the default instrument's settings for the ES a new session begins at 5:00 PM CST (6:00 pm EST). So if I run a backtest with the start date of a Wednesday, will the logic actually begin the day before on Tuesday, at 5:00 pm CST?

Or is there a section in the help guide that covers this?

Thanks for your post.

When you run your backtest, click the "Display" and change to "Trades", the first trade will show you the date and time of the first trade performed. You can also change the "display" to "Chart" and scroll the chart to the left to find the first bar actually processed.
