Use of primary indicators by a strategy

Hello,

Can a strategy use the indicators of the primary bars object? I would like to get the value of an indicator as the user changes it.

Thanks for your post.

No, the input series of a strategy cannot be set to an indicator. Indicators that the strategy uses are going to be what we implement inside the strategy itself.

You could add an indicator to your strategy code and base your logic off of that indicator, but this would require restarting the strategy after changing properties that set up the indicators used in the strategy.
