Calculate setting "On each tick" and "Bars" Conditions and Actions

Hello,

In Strategy builder we have the option to select the Calculation method which could be On Bar close, On each tick or On price change. But in Conditions and Actions tab some of the options under the selection for the Condition of Price are Bars ago.
So, the actions of the calculate selection of "On Bar close" is clear, but how the rest of the selections (On each tick and On price change) work with the Conditions and Actions tab "Bars ago" price setting? When does the calculation take place since there will be no bars? Does it translate to ticks for example? And what about the "On price change" option? What is the equivalent of that?

Hello space_trader,

In real-time bars ago 0 is always the most recently updated bar. When calculate is OnBarClose the most recently updated bar is the previous fully closed bar and not the currently building bar. When calculate is OnPriceChange/OnEachTick the most recently updated bar is the current building bar. This currently building bar will be the unfinished close, high, low, open, volume of the bar that is currently building and has not closed.
