Strategy just for Backtest

Hello,
I´m trying to create a very very simple strategy just to use it in Backtesting with the Strategy Analyzer, but it doesn't give any results. The only things I'm editing in the strategy builder are the stop loss and profit target total possitions. I don't need no conditions or anything else, maybe that´s the problem.

The Sample MA works fine in the Backtest, but the Sample ATM doesn´t. I have loaded the Historical data I need just in case, but nothing happens.
Any idea of what I should do?

Can you give details and screen shots of the strategy you made in the builder?

The SampleATMStrategy will not work in a backtest as the ATM Strategy Methods are meant for real-time only.

Thanks for your quick response. The only thig I'm editing in my Strategy is the Stop and Target as you can see in this screenshot. I didn't touch anything else and it let me Save it with no problem.

Hello Belen, thanks for your reply.

The strategy needs to submit an entry order for the stop and target orders to be applied. If there is no entry order those protective orders will not be used. In order to backtest this, define an entry order condition and submit an order in the Actions list. For a real-time trading solution, consider using ATM Strategies. We have a few examples of using the condition builder here.
