Strategy Analyzer Performance Issue

I have a high end 3950x Machine running at 4.2ghz with 32threads, 128GB Ram and SSDs. It is taking far longer than an old laptop I have to run Strategy Analyzer. The task manager only shows it using 3 - 8 percent of the CPU and sometimes it uses all the ram but most of the time it doesn't. Most of the time it sits at Calculating... until I finally abort it a day later. Or if it starts showing progress bar it stops and the estimated time is way off. If I leave it on several days it finally returns with the results! There is nothing else running other than the Analyzer. No charts.

Why is this happening with a fast machine when a 7 year old laptop finishes the same strategy in under 45 mins?

Are you running a backtest, or an optimization?

If an optimization, have you tried setting IsInstantiatedOnEachOptimizationIteration to false?

Does the strategy draw any objects to the chart? If so, does commenting out any drawing objects before running a backtest/optimization improve performance?

Do any errors regarding the strategy appear in the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what is the full text of the error?
