    Hello ttodua,

    Thank you for your post.

That does seem to be unusual behavior. Does it occur if you run the Sample MA Crossover on the Sim101 account, or is it specific to a particular strategy?

Please delete your cache and test again - do you get the same results?

To delete the cache, follow the steps below.
    • Shut down NinjaTrader.
    • Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db folder.
    • Delete the sub-folder named 'cache'.
    • Restart NinjaTrader and test.
If you're still seeing the issue after clearing the cache, please try temporarily renaming your database so we can rule out an issue with that.
    • Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
    • Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 8--> db--> "NinjaTrader.sdf" file (may only say 'NinjaTrader' depending on your Windows File Explorer settings)
    • Right click on NinjaTrader.sdf and select "Rename" *Name it "OLDNinjaTrader.sdf"
    • Then restart the software and NinjaTrader will create a fresh database file to use
    • Test with the strategy
If this resolves the issue, you'll need to keep the new database. Unfortunately the following items stored in the old database will be lost - Trading Hours templates, Instrument Lists / Custom Instruments, historical trade execution data, saved Strategy Analyzer backtest results.

If not, you may shut down NinjaTrader and delete the new NinjaTrader.sdf file in Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db, and rename OLDNinjaTrader.sdf back to just NinjaTrader.sdf, then restart NinjaTrader to restore your original database.

Please let us know the results of this testing.
