        Hello DTSSTS,

        Thanks for your reply.

We know that the original SwingRays indicator works in NinjaTrader8. This was the code we converted from NinjaTrader7 to NinjaTrader8. The indicator was written as an indicator and not as an input to a strategy.

As I mentioned there are still some issues that you would need to work out with the modified script you are using as with these modifications (to use in the strategy builder) there must still be some incompatibilities. It would require a debugging effort (print statements) to identify where the error occurs and then determine the actions needed.

We cannot provide a debugging service for scripts you have modified.

              Hello DTSSTS,

              Thanks for your reply.

"when you have Green in the left margin of editor next to the line numbers What does that mean?" I would need to see a screenshot of what you are looking at.

paul unrelated does the plot on chart always have to be checked for other indicators to work properly in a strategy?

                  Hello DTSSTS,

                  Thanks for your reply.

No, the plot on the chart is simply a convenience. I prefer to use it when possible if the strategy is using that same indicator in its logic as doing so ensures that the indicator and the chart and the indicator being used ion the strategy have the same settings, so what you see should match. ( as opposed to manually adding an indicator with some settings and then using the indicator in the strategy with different settings (unintentionally) which can cause confusion in trying to understand the strategy performance

In this case, I could not advise why it appears to help with the functionality.

Aligator here is what you want

When applied to a chart LabeledRays will render the end anchor price level for all Ray drawing objects.

this was posted in app share a few days ago Thanks to ChrisL - VERY NICE
