No variables available for optimization

Hello,

I have created a strategy with the strategy builder in NT8. I have set a few int variables up and placed them in my strategy. I am unable to set optimization parameters for these variables as they do not show up in the strategy analyzer. See screenshots for clarification.

Thanks for your post.

In order to optimize a strategy builder strategy, you would have to create these as user inputs, not as variables.

Once created as user inputs then they will show when you apply the strategy for use on a chart or in the optimizer.

I will make the change, but that just seems screwy to me that variables are not optimizable.. they are variables...
