How do I set an input value of a decimal?

Lately I've been using a condition of "if x is lower than BUYUNDER..." I set the value as an integer but I can't use any decimal points. What do I use to allow me to set values of 0.23 for example? Note: I have a very basic understanding of C+, I use the program to make algos.

for decimals you need to use a double not an int,
