Thank you for your post.
Are you referring to if an Indicator and Strategy should both be set to the same Calculate mode? (OnBarClose, OnPriceChange, OnEachTick)
Please note that an Indicator hosted by the Strategy will adopt the Calculate setting of its' host. For example, if you set the Strategy to Calculate OnBarClose and add an Indicator to it, the Indicator would adopt the same Calculate mode of OnBarClose.
Also, if you are seeing something unexpected, attach a sample of your code demonstrating the unexpected results so that we may further investigate the matter.
