Strategy - If there's a second buy while 1 position is already open...

Hi All,

I have a strategy running and all seems ok, with one exception:

1. First buy signal hit - we enter a long position
2. While the first long position is still open, if second buy signal hit, this time the first position closes(?). How do I ensure that the position will remain open and a new one will open?

Thank you for your post.

What is your Entries Per Direction setting for the strategy? The default is 1, which would only allow you to take one entry in a given direction before returning to a flat position - subsequent orders would simply be ignored. If you set Entries Per Direction for the strategy to 2 in the Strategy preferences, do you see it take multiple trades as you'd expect?
