Create ATM exit or target using the color of (or outptut) of an indicator line

Hi,

Is it possible to set a custom ATM exit or target using the output of a custom indicator?

Specifically, I have a custom "trend" indicator line that changes colors. I.e. line is green when momentum and other factors indicate price will move up, etc.

I would like to create and ATM that exits when the line changes colors? Is this possible?

Hello Charles,

Yes, in NinjaTrader 7 when developing a NinjaScript Strategy you can set the limitPrice or stopPrice of AtmStrategyChangeStopTarget() to the value from an indicator.

You would need the indicator to plot a value when the line is changing color to use this as a signal for the condition to change the price of the stop or target.
