Text is not drawing

Hello: I have this attached command in my script but it is not drawing anything on the chart. I am trying to draw a running P&L at the end of each trade. Please help. Thanks

Thanks for your post.

Your code is drawing the text at a price level (y-axis) of 0 (zero). If you shrink up your chart to see the zero line you will see any text that has been drawn.

For the Y-axis parameter, I suggest using Low[0] - 5 * TickSize. This will put the text 5 ticks below the low of the bar. Note that the text will move as the bars move right to left.

Alternatively, you might want to use Draw.TextFixed() as this will show the value in the same place all the time (any of the 4 corners or the center of the chart).
