Strategy Stops as soon as Close button is pressed from chart trader

Hello: Is it possible to continue trading using the strategy once trade is closed using close button from the chart trader ? Once I press the Close button, the last trade with profit is not being recorded in the total trades. I have a strategy where I would like to capture the profit while continue to run strategy in the same direction. Thanks,

Thanks for your post.

The Close button would be a manual order submission and the strategy would not see this. (Strategy Positions are separate from Account Positions.)

If the Close button closes a position that is opened by the strategy, the strategy will be disabled.

You could consider adding buttons to your strategy to allow manual exits and keep the strategy running. An example strategy that adds buttons can be found below.
