Two strategies 1 instrument 2 directions (The best tittle ever xD)

Hello, I have a question regarding 2 strategies that operate on the same instrument. If one strategy goes long and the other goes short, I understand that the position of the account remains flat, but the position of the strategy that went long would still be maintained since they do not detect that another strategy liquidated their positions. Is there any solution to this problem?

Hi 7robert, thanks for your question.

You could combine the strategies into one so that it will only go long or short at one given time. The other solution would be to make a new simulation account and run the strategies on two simulation accounts.

Please let me know if I can assist any further.
