Question About Position.Quantity

Hello staff,

I would like to use Position.Quantity to determine the size of an order, but what I am aiming for is to get "Position.Quantity + 1"
So, whatever the current amount of trades are, but +1 on top of that. However, this does not seem to work in a strategy.
Is there a way to achieve this result?

Hi GLFX005, thanks for your question.

If your strategy does something like, EnterLong(1), then does EnterLong(Position.Quantity+1), you must make sure EntriesPerDirection is set to 2. Can you confirm you have this property set to 2? Also, consider turning on TraceOrders in the script as well to print information about any ignored orders.
