Control indicator via strategy

Hello,

an indicator is controlled via parameters.


If you insert an indicator into a strategy, how can you control the parameters of the indicator?

Example

        protected override void OnStateChange()
        {
            if (State.DataLoaded == State)
            {
                MyIndicatorVariable = MyIndicator(Param1, Param2, etc. );
                AddChartIndicator(MyIndicatorVariable);
            }
        } 

Do I now have to implement all parameters in the strategy in order to control the indicator via the strategy?
Or is there an elegant solution?

By control the parameters, do you mean have the strategy properties show the indicator parameters or do you mean control in OnBarUpdate dynamically?

If you mean for the properties to show up in the interface, you would likely be best to copy the properties from your indicators code and put them in your strategies code to duplicate them. When you create the indicator as you have shown replace Param1 with the property that goes there etc.

If you mean later from OnBarUpdate, you generally would need to call the indicator like you have to re supply new parameters.
