Resuming strategy after diconnect/shutdown

Hello,

What is the right approach for the strategy to be able to pick up live orders after NinjaTrader got disconnected/restarted? What is the best practice to find historical order objects from live account, determine if they are still active or already got filled, and continue running strategy using unmanaged approach (of course strategy then should decide whether current live position is flat or not based on state of these orders).

Hello music_p13, thanks for your question.

If your account has an open position generated by the strategy, you would need to use the Immediately Submit startup behavior for the strategy. The startup behaviors will also look for any existing orders on the account and if they match up with the strategy, they will not be canceled and the strategy will start to manage those resting orders.
