Moving OCO manually from a strategy entry

Our strategy enters an order and then places an OCO but if the user manually interacts with that order by adjusting either the Profit or Stop in the SuperDom, the system appears to reset it back to the original values despite the OnOrderUpdate firing and successfully changing it.

How should we prevent NT8 from returning the order back to the original value?

Also, I personally feel the SuperDom should distinguish visually between orders entered by the user and ones by the strategy. It would also be hugely beneficial to allow us to receive events for all orders via another event like OnOrderGlobalUpdate or something.

    Hello MarketAlly,

    Thank you for your note.

I will put in a feature request for orders on the super dom to be colored depending on manually vs programmatically submitted.

If you wanted to interact with the strategy orders and avoid having them reset, you should use ATM Strategy Methods. Please see the following section of our helpguide,

You can also see the sample ATM strategy preloaded with NinjaTrader under ControlCenter>Tools>NinjaScript Editor and the strategies folder.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.
