dividend adjusting

Hello. I've set up some instruments where I have manually input dividends. I have set the charts to adjust and they appear to be working correctly.
The question I have relates to stops and target levels on a live strategy. Presumably, once I set a price level for a target or stop, the price is the price and there is no adjustment, unless the broker has an auto adjust feature (in my case, I use IB and so they do not auto-adjust orders down or up on ex-div days).


I can add some code where I manually input dividend dates and levels, and then adjust stops/ targets as appropriate, but I was wondering if there are any exisiting indicators or otherwise that check whether a dividend has been paid and the amount?

Hello Colin,

Thank you for your note.

There is no script which auto adjusts your working PT and SL for the dividends that I'm aware of, however if you do create such a script and would like to upload a sample I'm sure the forum would appreciate your contribution.
