Account margin parameters not updating

I'm posting this under Strategy Development since that is the angle I'm approaching it from, but feel free to move it if another location makes more sense.

My question is about the account parameters that can be viewed under the Accounts tab. The obvious things like Cash Value work fine for me. However, when I am in a trade things such as Intraday Margin do not update and remain at $0 on my live account. These columns work as expected when trading against a simulated account. I would like my strategy to reference these and be able to determine if sufficient margin is available at any point in time. Any idea why these values are not available?

The Account information can be retrieved with Account.Get(AccountItem.IntradayMargin).

Whether this account information is available (including on the Accounts tab of the Control Center) depends on the connection type you are connecting to.
