I also don't get any data when I run historical strategy performance

Hello nelsario,
Thanks for your post.
Please provide further information:
1) What specific version of Ninjatrader 8 are you using? (look in help about)
2) What data feed are you connected to?
3) What specific instrument, bar type and time frame are you charting?
4) When you apply and Enable the strategy, do you see any related errors in the control center's "Log" tab?
5) What account did you assign the strategy to when it was applied?
6) Have you previously run strategies before or is this a new installation, new usage?
You mention "CANed strategies" which I am assuming are the ones provided with the default installation. Of these, for now, please only test with SampleMACrossover as that is an "always in" type strategy and the other strategies are provided to demonstrate other capabilities.
