Using auSuperTrend indicator in StrategyBuilder

Hey guys

I'd like to use AUSuperTrend in StrategyBuilder. What is the parameter that I should use to detect an uptrend and a downstrend? It seems to do the right thing via the chart. I'd love to automate it.

Hi ZivGillat, thanks for your question.

Whatever is in the "Plots" section of the condition builder can be accessed from the strategy. You will need to test out different outputs that the indicator gives to see what might be needed for the strategy. Im noticing the SuperTrend indicator does have a Trend plot. Try printing out this value to the output window to see if it's what you need.

Hi Radano, thanks for your post.

AUSuperTrend has a plot called Trend that you can use in conditions in the builder. It is either 1 or -1 depending on the trend direction.
