Executions Today

I'm trying to check if there have been any trades on the current day in my strategy. Is this the best approach?

 if (SystemPerformance.AllTrades.Count  != 0)

I'm unclear on how long the SystemPerformance.AllTrades.Count holds the value. Seem like I need to have a date check, or is there a better approach?

Once a trade is complete it will be added to the SystemPerformance.AllTrades trade collection. Every Trade object will have an "Exit" Execution object. The Execution object holds a timestamp that can be evaluated:
