Sample c# code to access ninja trader 8 via standalone program

Hi sorry for the post,

I am looking for some sample C# code (e.g. what Dll's etc need to be included) that can run independently of Ninja Trader, but uses the calls to Ninja trader (if that makes sense) I thought that this was available in version 7 but I can't seem to find anything in Version 8.

Something on the lines of enter an Stock code and it will pull up the last price, just proof of concept of talking to Ninja Trader.

I believe you are referring to the dll api, this is not a supported concept but you can find a small amount of information about that in the following post:

There are not samples or guides on this forum for making your own trading application, all information here would relate to creating items in NinjaScript or within the platform. If you are writing a NinjaScript strategy I would suggest looking at the reference samples in the help guide as a starting point: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ce_samples.htm

If you are writing an external program the only item that is available would be the item linked in post 2.
