Draw Lin on Indicator Panel from Strategy . . .

While this seems to have been asked before the answers don't agree and the suggestions to draw the line do not work.

If I click on the lines that are Drawn I see one that is the correct parameters for the line I want, but don't see the line on
either the Price Panel or the Indicator panel. I am just trying to draw a trend line on an indicator that I add in the strategy using
AddChartIndicator.

I have tried using the command DrawOnPricePanel = false; before drawing the line and tried using it without and neither way
draws the line.

Is there a way to draw a line on an Indicator Panel from a Strategy?

Hello ATMtrader0001,

When a NinjaScript Strategy adds an indicator with AddChartIndicator(), unfortunately drawing objects will not appear on the indicator panel historically but will once the indicator transitions to real-time.

We are tracking demand for 'DrawOnPricePanel should be able to be used dynamically working with an indicator through a hosting strategy via AddChartIndicator' with tracking ID# SFT-4159.


So in real-time yes, it is possible to draw a line on an indicator panel added to the chart with AddChartIndicator(), but this will not work historically.
